Center of the country - Maradi and Tahoua
In the Maradi area, cases of abduction of persons were reported during the week. Elements of Operation FARAOUTA BUSHIA have initiated proceedings to apprehend the kidnappers.
In the Tahoua area, elements of Operation SHARA neutralized four armed bandits and recovered their equipment near TABATOL.
West of the country - Niya area
A planned ambush against the FDS in the SAMIRA area was thwarted. 8 terrorists were neutralized and their equipment recovered
