On December 24, 2022, 17 herders were killed by Boko Haram members near the village of Airamne in Mafa district. Livestock was stolen.
A lorry loaded with medicines was diverted by unidentified armed men near Tougouri
On 24 December 2022, around 13 unidentified armed men hijacked a truck from an NGO loaded with drugs on the Tapargo-Tougouri axis. The drugs were stolen. The truck had no escort. The truck was not set on fire and the driver was not injured.
