Assessment of the Feleho operation

The military operation feleho (“to take back one’s property” in Bwamou) aims to reconquer solenzo. The security situation in the Boucle du Mouhon and Banwa provinces is deteriorating. The incursion of terrorists into the town of Solenzo has led to the departure of the public administration and the population. The aim of the operation is to create favorable conditions for the return of the public administration and the civilian population. All of Burkina FAso’s defense and security forces were involved in Operation Feleho. Several actions were carried out with coordination between the different entities involved. Operation feleho achieved important tactical results such as the destruction of terrorist bases and the neutralization of terrorists.
