The assailants came on a motorcycle and shot him dead. According to Fraternité FM, this chief hunter is very involved in the security arrangements put in place in the town to counter jihadist attacks. He also collaborates with the armed and defense forces in the area to maintain order and security.

A married couple and 11 other people were abducted in northwestern Nigeria
Terrorists struck twice within hours in the same Zamfara area of northwestern Nigeria, kidnapping a group of brides and a group of farmers. The group of women escorting a bride to her wedding was abducted on the road between Zugu and Gadarzaima in Bukuyum Local Government Area around 6 a.m. on October 30. On the same day, at least 11 farmers were abducted on their way to work in their fields about 15 km away in Tajaye village.

Attack on the Ahina camp by members of the ISGS
At around 12:00 p.m., armed ISGS elements broke into the Ahina camp in the commune of Anchwadj (Gao region). The terrorists executed civilians before looting the site. A unit of the Imghad and Allied Tuareg Self-Defense Group (GATIA), which was patrolling the area, launched an offensive against the attackers. The terrorists were defeated with about 15 dead in their ranks. Weapons, ammunition and stolen livestock were recovered. The GATIA unit deplores the death of 9 of its fighters during the confrontation and 4 civilians executed by the ISGS.
