3 civilians killed and a Nigerien MINUSMA peacekeeper wounded during a July 25 demonstration in Menaka, Mali.
On July 25, GAT opened fire on civilians during a demonstration in Ménaka against the MSA and GATIA. Three civilians died in the attack and several people were injured, including a Nigerien peacekeeper.
Terrorist checkpoint between Ourikela and Tandio

Iswap and Boko Haram's attack plan in Nigeria
The NSCDC, Nigeria’s civil defense and security corps, has uncovered plans for ISWAP and Boko Haram to launch coordinated attacks on schools in Kastina, Zamfara, Kaduna, Kogi and Lagos. To accomplish this objective, they mobilized fighters and heavy weaponry, particularly RPG rocket launchers, air defense missile launchers, and heavy machine guns.

Attack against FAMa in Sokolo
Early in the morning of July 27, terrorists attacked the town of Sokolo, killing six FAMa and wounding 25 others. The FAMa announced the death of 48 terrorists, as well as the destruction of three pickups located 15 km from the town. These actions also led to the recovery of two other pickups, one of which was equipped with a machine gun, as well as a great deal of military equipment, mortars, ammunition and weapons.

Curfew in Douentza
In an effort to curb GAT attacks, the governor of the Douentza region took a new measure. As of July 28, all vehicle traffic is prohibited at night, from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., except for military vehicles and ambulances.
