On April 6, 2022, armed men sabotaged electrical poles in Kompienga. This town has been without electricity since the evening of April 5, even though it is home to one of the largest power plants.

Closure of the RN 15 in Mali.
On April 7, 2022, the RN 15 road on the Sévaré – Bandiagara – Bankass – Koro section was closed by order of the regional governor. Ambulances, MINISMA and FAMa vehicles are allowed to use the road. There is no information on when the road will reopen.
