Niger builds drone base to strengthen border security

Niger plans to build a base of armed drones to strengthen its defense and security capabilities in the fight against terrorism and to closely monitor the security situation on its borders with Libya and Mali. Security sources told the local newspaper, Actu Niger, on Sunday that the drone base will be set up in the country’s central region, Tahoua.
