On February 14, 2022, a joint convoy of military and Volunteers for Homeland Defense (VDP) was hit by an IED explosion in Nogo. One VDP was killed and ten others were injured.

Threat to the populations of the Niger River.
On February 15, 2022, the populations of the towns of Ouatagouna, Bourra, Tessit, Lellahoye, and Fafa were told by members of the JNIM not to allow ISGS members to cross the river in order to prevent them from advancing towards the Gourma or Hausa.

On February 17, 2022, armed men on motorcycles set fire to the elementary school in Bougui.
On February 17, 2022, following a terrorist attack in Kelbo, 5 people, including 2 volunteers for the defense of the fatherland (VDP) were killed.
Rocket launched against civilians
On February 17, 2022, unidentified men fired a rocket into one of the eastern neighborhoods of Aribinda. One civilian was killed, another was wounded, and there was collateral damages to the houses that were hit.

On February 17, 2022, the men who had kidnapped the two public health agents from Ouindigui on December 12, 2021, released them.
Bombing by Malian armed forces.
On February 17, 2022, Malian armed forces (FAMA) conducted an operation in the Lellahoye area near Tessit. The FAMA conducted air strikes on positions occupied by armed terrorist groups and ground elements conducted a sweep of the area.

Bombing of a village.
On February 18, 2022, 12 people, including 4 children, were killed in a bombing in southern Niger. 7 other wounded children were transferred to the hospital in Madarounfa. The origin of the bombing is not known.
57 jihadists neutralized.
On February 18, 2022, Malian armed forces and the air force neutralized 57 jihadists operating in the Gourma area during a sweep. On the MAF side, eight people were killed, 14 were wounded, and five were reported missing.

Theft of several vehicles.
On February 19, 2022, 3 vehicles and 1 ambulance were stolen by armed men on the Fada N’Gourma – Bilanga road.
Fire of a truck belonging to the Essakane company.
On February 19, 2022, armed individuals set fire to a truck belonging to the Essakane mining company. The truck had broken down and was at a standstill. No human casualties were reported.
Demonstration at the Place de la Nation.
On February 19, 2022, several hundred people from various locations gathered at Place de la Nation in Ouagadougou to show their support for the Patriotic Movement for the Safeguard and Restoration.
Murder of 2 employees of the company Kangala.
On February 19, 2022, two employees of the Kangala company, responsible for the asphalting of the Dori – Gorom Gorom highway, were kidnapped and then executed by terrorists. (This is the fourth attack on this company since the work began.)

On February 19, 2022, a transport bus was attacked in takaledougou by armed men. Four people were killed and seven injured.

On 20 February 2022, five vehicles were attacked on the Karangasso Sambla – Kounseni road by armed men. The passengers were robbed of their money.

On February 20, 2022, a convoy of military vehicles on a resupply mission was hit by an improvised explosive device. One soldier was killed and one was injured.
Attack on police and forestry positions.
On February 20, 2022, armed men attacked police and forestry positions in Bekuy. There were no casualties, only material damage.
Murder of a pastor.
On February 20, 2022, Dozo militiamen murdered a Fulani pastor who was originally from Ndola in the cercle of Niono.

On February 20, 2022, a convoy of a mixed patrol (security force – volunteers for the defense of the homeland) was hit by a mine explosion in Dagalé. One SDF soldier was killed and another was injured.
